CLEANUP: A firefighter mops up after a small fire in a cafe and subsequent sprinkler activation at the Bendigo Marketplace on Thursday evening.

On June 25, a deliberately lit fire destroyed a charity shop and warehouse in California Gully near Bendigo, Victoria. The Bendigo Advertiser selected two of my photos for the Monday 28/06/2010 edition, and another for the Tuesday 29/06/2010 edition. This was the first outing for my new Pentax K-7 DSLR, however the first and third shots here were taken with the Pentax K20D + Sigma 70-200/2.8 HSM II (for the record the second shot was with the K-7 + Pentax DA* 16-50/2.8 SDM).
